Do you need garlic for vampyre Slayer? ›

Now that you have the required items, you must now fight the vampyre. Make sure you have a weapon, armour, food, garlic, a hammer and the stake. Go to Draynor Village, and then head north to the Draynor Manor. Once inside, go down the large stairs on the east side of the building.

Not recommended as the area is not convenient to access, requires the player to wear items affiliated to the gods, and the spawns are spread out. One of the few locations containing vampyres not locked behind Priest in Peril.

The Vyrewatch are the vampyric vanguard that receive blood tithes from the population of Morytania and suppress any resistance to the Drakan overlords. They patrol the skies as both soldiers and lords of Meiyerditch and ask any human, including the player, that catches their attention for a blood tithe.

When you kill the assigned monsters, you get Slayer experience, which you wouldn't if it weren't your assignment. A good plan for garlic is to pair it with high level king bible, even better if you can evolve it into unholy vespers, both garlic and king bible benefit from candelabra, and spinich which should also give you some breathing space as king bible has some good knockback.
