Coalfield Community Action Partnership Inc. will receive sealed bids for the 2024-2025 service years for Head Start and Senior Programs in Mingo, McDowell and southern Wayne counties. Sealed bids are being solicited in the following categories:

* Food Staples
* Fresh Fruits & Vegetables
* Bread Products
* Milk and Dairy Products

Products must meet all USDA standards for foods. Either English standard or metric measurements are acceptable. Efforts will be made to prefer and utilize products that conserve natural resources, protect the environment and/or energy efficient (if these purchases are also cost efficient for the program).

Bids must be sealed and marked SEALED BID on the outside of the envelope. Bids will be accepted by mail or in-person through Thursday, August 22, 2024 at 4:00 p.m. at the office of Coalfield Community Action Partnership Inc., 1626 W. 3rd Avenue, (P.O. Box 1406) Williamson, WV 25661, ATTN: Karen Browning.

Bids that are received through fax, email, are not sealed, or are received after the deadline will not be considered.

Depending on individual usage, the average monthly bill for the various classes of customers will be decreased as follows: Residential (RES)($10.45)(10.24%) Commercial (GS1)($13.59)(10.93%) Industrial (GS2)($128.56)(14.30%) Industrial (ISS)($652.46)(16.38%) The decreases shown are based on averages of all customers in the indicated classes. Individual customers may receive decreases that are greater or less than average. Furthermore, the requested decreased rates and charges are only a proposal and are subject to change (increases or decreases) by the Public Service Commission in its review of this filing. Any change in rates and charges will not become effective until authorized and approved by the Public Service Commission. If a hearing is scheduled, notice will be given of the time and place of hearing. A complete copy of the tariff, as well as a representative of the Company to provide any information requested concerning it, is available to all customers, prospective customers or their agents at any of the following offices of the Company: 4699 East Cumberland Road, Bluefield, West Virginia 24701 A copy of the tariff is also available for public inspection at the offices of the Executive Secretary of the Public Service Commission at 201 Brooks Street, Charleston, WV 25301.
